A brain-wide map of long range input neurons to PV+, SST+ and VIP+ neurons in two sub-regions(prelimbic area and infralimbic area) of medial prefrontal cortex, including the quantification of input neurons in each individual brain areas, the neurochemical proprieties of the subcortical input neurons, and the morphology of the input neurons in neocortex and hippocampus.

Raw data:
Whole brain inputs to SST+ neurons in two sub-regions (prelimbic area and infralimbic area) of medial prefrontal cortex
Whole brain inputs to VIP+ neurons in two sub-regions (prelimbic area and infralimbic area) of medial prefrontal cortex
Whole brain inputs to PV+ neurons in two sub-regions (prelimbic area and infralimbic area) of medial prefrontal cortex

The quantification of input neurons in each individual brain areas:
Quantification of input neurons to SST+ in PL
Quantification of input neurons to SST+ in ILA
Quantification of input neurons to PV+ in PL
Quantification of input neurons to PV+ in ILA
Quantification of input neurons to VIP+ in PL
Quantification of input neurons to VIP+ in ILA

Morphology of the input neurons in neocortex and hippocampus:
119 neurons projecting to mPFC were reconstructed from the whole brain data (the resolution is 0.3×0.3 × 1 µm ).
86 cortical neurons and 33 hippocampal neurons were shown here.
