Brief introduction
With the analysis of whole-brain anatomical connectome and characterization of physiological activities, the authors revealed the underling circuit mechanism of the prefrontal cortex dysfunction and object recognition memory impairment in Alzheimer's disease model.
16 PFC neurons that project to substantia innominata or supramammillary nucleus were reconstructed from the whole brain data (the resolution is 0.3×0.3×1 µm ), related to figure 4.
