Continuous 2D images spanning the hypothalamus from about AP -0.4 mm to AP -2.8 mm are presented. The GFP+ magnocellular neuroendocrine cells can be observed in the densely packed principal magnocellular neurosecretory nuclei, less-defined accessory magnocellular neurosecretory nuclei and scattered magnocellular neurosecretory system. Brain regions along the needle track from about AP -5.4 mm to AP -6.0 mm were shown to exclude the possible contamination.

Raw data:
The whole view of the hypothalamo-neurohypophysial system  (AP -0.4 mm to -2.8 mm)
Coronal sections spanning the needle track  (AP -5.4 mm to -6.0 mm)
